This one means a lot to me. I used a bunch of my family's village in China as reference for the background. The area is called Longan Village in Chaojing, Taishan 广东 台山 潮境 龙安村. The village struggles due to the lack of running water, keeping the lights on, and other basic amenities, but the community thrives through family values and simplistic living.
